Defenshield tactical products are typically used for very short periods of time in an environment that dictates the highest level of mobility, such as riot control or VIP protection. These tools are used in actions against a known and immediate threat, and are not ordinarily used on a 24/7 basis, but rather are kept at the ready for the majority of their lifecycle. Tactical tools are readily accessible and easily transportable.

Law Enforcement and Corrections environments are most likely to use Defenshield's tactical products, which include Handheld Riot Shields, Capture Shields, and Briefcase Ballistic Inserts.
