Marines Incorporate Defenshield into Upgraded Traffic Control Points

Camp Fallujah, Iraq, April 14, 2008 — Marine combat engineers are using Defenshield MDFP’s along side earth-filled HESCO barriers and plywood construction to fortify entry control points. The MDFP’s provide excellent visibility of approaching threats while still maintaining the highest level protection available in a mobile, stand-alone device. Units currently in use by the Marines have ATV-style tires which allow the MDFP’s to be easily reconfigured for optimal positioning.
