Prince William County, VA, August 11, 2006 – Impressed by the Defenshield Mobile Defensive Fighting Position at the Force Protection Equipment Demonstration (FPED) at Quantico Marine Corp Base in Virginia, Prince William County has added a new MDFP to protect its courthouse security personnel. The unit will be used to enhance security during entry control screening.
With the unit just weeks in place, security personnel have responded enthusiastically to the added protection and are considering placing more units at all entry control points throughout the building.
"We understand Prince William County worked for several years to secure funding for this project to up-armor their entry points and are pleased they were able to initiate the higher level of protection that their security officers deserve," said Collins White, President of Defenshield. "We're excited to be working with them to develop a plan for greater physical security and deterrence throughout their facilities."
