Robert J. Ryan Jr.
Board of Directors

Mr. Ryan joined the Board of Directors in 2005 to assist and advise on the business and strategic aspects of Defenshield's corporate development. He is the principal and chief investment officer of RJR Associates, a Syracuse based investment advisory firm committed to applying the science of capital markets to the management of financial assets. Mr. Ryan's professional experience includes over twenty years with NYSE and Fortune 500 companies in all facets of corporate finance. He has also served as a director of several corporate boards, including food processing, international trade, insurance and banking concerns, and on the faculty of Syracuse University where he taught MBA courses in securities markets and corporate finance. Mr. Ryan was awarded an MBA with distinction from Cornell's Johnson Graduate School of Management and completed his Ph.D. in finance at Syracuse University.

Bob and his wife, Linda, enjoy spending time at their family retreat on Lake Champlain in Vermont and he marvels at the insights provided by John Prine and Henry David Thoreau on the human condition.
